Taskforces

As part of the ongoing efforts to facilitate IT development of Hong Kong, CK has worked with the industry to set up dedicated taskforces on different IT issues. By coordinating the industry's efforts, these working groups aim to take the lead in making the public and government aware of the issues arising from the technological advancement and in proposing ways to tackle them.

Working Group on Intelligent Transport Systems & Services

With a vision to build up Hong Kong's future where people and goods are transported without delay, injury, or fatality, by adopting mobile communications and wireless technologies in our transport network and infrastructure which are built and operated to be intelligent, safe, cost-effective, efficient, environmental friendly and secure, the Working Group was established in August 2005 for formulating strategies for promoting ITS in Hong Kong.
