Survey:
Manpower Survey of the ICT Industry in Hong Kong
An adequate
supply of quality ICT manpower is of great importance to sustain
the long-term development of Hong Kong's ICT industry. As
our economy has been improving steadily since last year, it
is envisaged that demand for ICT personnel will continue to
grow as investment by all kinds of industrial sectors in information
technology is likely to resume positive growth in the coming
years.
To understand
the latest market requirements for ICT skills, I, collaborate
with Hong Kong Computer Society, Hong Kong Information Technology
Federation, Hong Kong Wireless Technology Association, Information
& Software Industry Association, am currently conducting a
manpower survey of the ICT industry from12 August to 31 August
2005. The purpose of this survey is to obtain data on the
present and future manpower situation in ICT market so as
to enable me/us to reflect to the Government the ICT manpower
situation and formulate appropriate measures to the need of
our industry.
I sincerely
invite you to contribute 5 minutes to complete the questionnaire
and fax it to me (Fax no. 2537-1469) on or before 31 Aug.
